Tucked away in this beautiful South Shore neighborhood just a short walk from Lake Macatawa, Whitman Cottage is a Scandinavian-inspired lakeside gem offering peace, charm, and year-round comfort. This thoughtfully updated 1950s cottage blends vintage character with modern amenities—perfect for a summer vacation, a fall escape, or a quiet winter retreat.

 Inside, you’ll find a cozy and curated space with all the comforts of home. The main floor features a spacious living area which opens to a private office space. The fully equipped kitchen features a stainless gas range and appliances and a separate dining area. The upper level features 2 bedrooms - the primary bedroom has a queen bed and guest room has two twin beds. The main floor office has a twin trundle bed which can convert to 3 twins or a king bed. These bedrooms share one full and one half bath and sleeps 6 guests comfortably. Private yard features a gas grill and firepit.

  This cottage is conveniently located 10 minutes from Downtown Holland . In the summer, The Macatawa Bay Yacht Club, Eldean's Marina and Mac Adventures boat rentals are less then 5 minutes away for all of your boating needs! You will be close to hiking trails, tennis, pickle ball, as well as the beautiful Lake Michigan beaches for a day of sun, sand and relaxation. Plan a winter escape and enjoy visiting the lake to see snowy sunsets, trails for winter hiking, or walking around Downtown Holland on the heated sidewalks. Saugatuck is just a 15 minute drive and features  award-winning shops, farm to table restaurants, and local markets.

PARKING
Guests have access to a single-stall garage, a carport, and two additional parking spaces.

CANCELLATION POLICY
- Cancel within 48 hours of making your reservation at no charge.
- Cancel 14 days or more in advance, and receive a full refund.
- Cancel 7 days in advance, and receive a 50% refund.
- No refunds for cancellations less than 7 days in advance of reservation start date.

There are no refunds for early departures, reduction of nights rented, or delayed arrivals due to inclement weather or any other factor. Please consider trip insurance to protect your investment.

This property is locally managed by BVW Unsalted Vacations Property Management in Holland, MI. We provide a starter kit of paper products, toiletries, hospitality-grade linens and much more.

All BVW Unsalted Vacations rentals follow local and state tax rules. Your reservation includes applicable taxes, a cleaning fee, and a Damage Protection policy.
